I don't understand how it's possible that we live in a world where you can go to aliexpress dot com and search "anime pants" and up comes EXACTLY the item you were looking for—available for purchase at a reasonable price—and yet I have never seen anyone wearing such a garment? It just does not make sense to me.

I live near lots of asian people though! I once spotted a probably-chinese guy wearing geobaskets! And yet, I have never seen anyone wearing anime pants. I don't understand how, in a world where it is possible to buy anime pants, no one is wearing them.
