Just get into the habit of thrift shopping and buying shit from Marshals.

Don't just buy shit on a whim. If you really want something, find it and bully it. Don't settle for anything other Han what you want but don't let a price tag either.

Also, it helps if you don't buy new clothes every week. I personally only get something new maybe once a month if not less frequently.
