I tried growing out my facial hair - it's not going too well. My chin has flourished with dark course hair however my cheeks are only growing in some spots. Whats the go with this? Why is this happening? I shaved the moustache last week because moustache is not for me but the rest has been left to grow.

I guess Im just looking for advice on what to do with this mess... and an explanation of why this experiment went wrong.

Genetics.

Some people have consistent beard growth, some do not. You fall into the latter category. Stick with the clean-shaven route.
>>
shape it and pray

Just shape your chin and shave the rest. It may very well get better as you get older. I found that the more I grew my facial hair out, I'd get growth more in the surrounding areas.

Exfoliate my friend, scrub and clean. You'll start stimulating hair growth. Now are far as the coarseness, not much to be done about that. Just don't pluck hairs, they'll grow in thinner.

trim it and take care of your skin
>>
smear semen on your skin to promote facial hair growth

Is this a real question? How old are you?
>>
Don't shave the moustache, beards look dumb without them.

you could try minoxidil in your face
not sure how it will look if you let it grow, probably like a lot of pubes in your face.

Does this shit work? Not op here, but I'm having some bald spots in my beard, so I always shaved it for my whole life, but I'd like to experiment with a beard.

It works, but it will make your skin dry as fuck

Before I get into this. Let's assume I use this and it works. Can I stop using it after getting to the point of growth I want or do I need to continue using this permanently? In that case I wouldn't bother.
