Patterned short sleeved button downs are alright but for casual poolside and summer BS, patterned shorts plus neutral tees and button downs reign supreme IMO.

That said I want this shirt. I have the shorts in this pattern and they're fucking great. I think Denim&Supply (subdivision of PRL) stopped making these though.

I fucking love floral shirts. Just be sure to get them in cotton or real silk, rayon (synthetic) is a bitch and gets far too warm. Beware, of course, that silk is a lot less practical than cotton for washing and pressing.

That said, you can get used silk hawaiian shirts from tommy bahama for a very good deal if you search for used ones on ebay. Watch their measures though.
