at 23 you can pull off pretty much any style. Id go for a casual street look with some military elements thrown in the mix. maybe a nice parka or field jacket with a hoodie layered underneath. Some nice boots.

reddit /mfa/ might be your speed. i am not trying to be an asshole. this is a board where a lot of people discuss their fashion interests, and sometimes help newcomers. /mfa/ is a board dedicated to helping newcomers who are interested in dressing better.

/fa/ is more of a niche "BECAUSE I LIKE IT MOM" while /mfa/ is all about dressing to fit in

but as far as my input.. i would focus on buying a couple of moderately cheap things that pique your interest, and then lurk here like fucking crazy while you start working out a bit. by the time you know what styles you are interested in, you'll have start losing weight, and then you can start building a wardrobe of quality pieces
