Why the fuck is every highly recommended running shoe so fucking gaudy? What are some running shoes for moderate overpronators that don't look like sketchers but at the same time have a sole good enough for wet surface?
Does no one seriously know any good running shoes that dont look like ass?
maybe check out an all black kayano
get some flyknits

the sole is god awful for wet concrete.

Nike: Zoom Structure, Zoom Odyssey
Adidas: Sequence Boost, Adistar Boost, Ultra Boost ST (coming out in December- basically ultra boost for overpronators)
Asics: GT-2000, Kayano
Saucony: Guide, Hurricane ISO
Brooks: Adrenaline, Transcend
New Balance: 860
Mizuno: Wave Rider, Wave Paradox
there ya go. I work at a specialty running store. It's my job to know what shoes are good for different foot types.

This. Used to work in a sports store and the best shoes I tried must have been the Asics Kayano. Had all black ones and they looked alright. So comfortable.

Yes dude the Kayanos were my go to for like 4 years. Recently I mostly run in the ultra boost but am looking for a shoe with more stability so I'm really excited for that Ultra Boost ST

Why didn't you mention lunarglide 7's? Otherwise good list.

OP here, thanks for the list.
If you're still around, are the kayano evos sneakers or running shoes? They look really damn good but don't seem to be running shoes
>>10654527
Yeah I forgot the Lunarglides. They are a little less stable than the other two Nikes I mentioned but if you prefer a softer feel then you will strongly prefer them to the Structure and the Odyssey, which are both very firm.

The evos are a sneaker. They are basically a reworking of the retro Kayano runners. They would have been an alright running shoe 20 years ago, but you probably shouldn't use them for running today. They do look nice though.
