Relax, they have it much worse each time they get into a fight; don't forget that Melody is physically weak. It did damage Rattata's friendship quite a bit, though (yes, I do keep track of that). Most violence in this story will follow the anime's logic, regardless. Basically, whatever James and Jessie can survive, the average person/Pokémon can; while Melody herself is basically immortal. In any case, the little guy is fine.
Needlessly to say, it didn't work.

I get Rattata´s Pokéball from my backpack. Will this do? Its fur is blue while I’m obviously a brunette. It’s night outside already, although it’s hard to tell, but the stage is well-illuminated. Whatever! Here’s to hoping. I run to the dressing room, I don’t want to be interrupted.
“CONTESTANTS FOR THE SECOND FIGHT IN THE SEMIFINALS, PLEASE GO TO THE STAGE.” It gets announced. Damn it, I’m running out of time.
“Go Rattata!” It comes out, cries its name twice and looks at me inquisitively. “Now, stay put for a second.”
Still unsure this might be a good idea; I reach for my Pokémon’s back and try to grab some of its hair to pull it off. Rattata cries in pain and surprise, and then tries to bite my hand to get me to stop; I flinch back out of his reach, without a single strand hair in my hand.
“I need some of your hair, Rattata! Please!”
When I try to walk to him, Rattata goes back without every giving his back to me, growling. No matter how I approach him, he tries to stay out of my hand’s reach. I try to ask him nicely a couple of times, and promise a few things in return, but nothing seems to work. My other Pokémon with fur on it would be Pikachu, but if Rattata is so uncooperative around this idea, Pikachu will probably just fry me with a Thundershock.

“Melody, what are you doing?” I hear Aria’s voice at my back. “You can’t use Rattata for these fights! Hurry, Amanda is on her way already.”
I curse under my breath and take out Rattata’s Pokéball to call him back. For a second there I think I see him considering dodging the red beam that will call him back, but in the end Rattata gets back to his Pokéball without any incident. Why did I have such an idea? It isn’t necessarily the wrong angle to experiment, but I had less than fifteen seconds to execute it.
“Melody, run!” Urges Aria, as she takes off my backpack. “You can’t be late, you know how these people are.”
Listening to Aria’s advice, I basically sprint to stage from the backside. Amanda was already there, ready on her side of the battlefield. Did she see what I was doing with Rattata? I didn’t notice her walking to the dressing room.
There’s a man standing on my side of the stage, and urges me to hurry up with exaggerated hand motions. When I make it to him, he scolds me in a whisper, while making sure all my clothes are on their place and gives my hair a quick brushing.
“Ladies and gentlemen” the announcer begins, and the guy runs backwards and vanishes, “for the last fight of the semifinals, Melody versus Amanda.”

The curtain lifts and the applauding starts, as usual. I’m faced off against the strongest trainer of all the contestants with only three Pokémon against five. Is it time to start thinking what will I do if I lose? I still have some time as the fight goes on.

a) Be very bold and daring, show no shame so they can’t make fun of it.
b) Be like a robot. Answer things boringly, do as requested with the minimal effort acceptable.
c) Just be myself.
d) Try to act like Joy. Be a huge perv that enjoys this… but I don’t know if I can keep the act up.

The plan here is not to embarrass myself any more than necessary. I’m getting naked in front of all these people, I’ve had hours to come to terms with that idea… not that it helped all that much. In any case, I fear that if I try to act artificially in any way, I might end up like Helga; not only showing my bare body to an audience, but making a fool out of myself, a ridiculous, sad fool. I’ll just wing it. Whatever happens, happens.
I start with Turtwig. It seems very implausible that this Pokémon can win or help me win any fight, so it’s basically using it for scouting. I mean, it’s not as if it was my own Pokémon. Amanda starts with a Dratini. It’s exactly level 15, and it takes exactly one Wrap attack to take down poor Turtwig. Damn it… time to start the stupid ritual.
Okay, no problem. I’m already showing around my panties, so taking off my shirt doesn’t feel like such a big deal… or it shouldn’t. With so many eyes staring at me, it doesn’t feel like a small deal either, though. I take off my shirt with a swift movement and just leave it in the floor. I’m just using a plain white bra that is technically part of my Lass uniform. For a moment I think I see a bit of disappointment in some of the eyes scrutinizing me; maybe it is because I’m not wearing anything fancy, or maybe they don’t like the size of my boobs. I’ll admit that compared to some of the monster tits they have seen waving around – and still can see if they just turn to see the naked girls in the audience – they’re not so impressive. It still attacks my self-esteem a little bit.

Next fight is my Ralts against… Dratini again. Amanda doesn’t switch. We face Dratini’s Dragon Rage against Ralts’ Confusion. It takes two clashes before Ralts is out of commission. Dratini didn’t make it out without some injuries, but they all seem to be minor. Still, that’s not what I’m worried about right now.
Again, to the center of the stage. Tons of eyes on me, there’s well-dressed men, fancy ladies, a few naked girls who don’t bother to hide their despise towards me in their looks and… is that a kid? Who brings a kid to this kind of sick show? Ugh… I slowly reach with both my hands to my back, and get the hook of the bra. I undo it in less than a second, but keep moving my hands around for a little while longer to buy myself some time. I need to ready myself.

I let go. My bra falls off me, and I show a bunch of strangers my boobs. There is no covering, there is not hiding. My slightly-below average sized breasts are displayed to anyone who cares to take a look. I freeze for a bit, unable to deal with the situation. That time is not misspent by the public, all of whom check me out with a wide variety of judgements and looks. Some I believe are content with the size, while a few are disapproving; some focus on my erect nipples – it is rather cold – while some prefer to watch the round shape on its entirety. I snap out of it a little later that I would’ve like to, and walk past to my position with a red-shinning face. This isn’t even the worst that I’ll have to do in these next few minutes, so I have to steel myself.
I send out Mudkip, but of course; Amanda already knew what Pokémon I had left. She has a Voltorb. I get crushed; believe it or not that ball Pokémon can move incredibly fast and has top-notch reflexes to avoid Mudkip’s Mud Slap. My eyes meet with Amanda’s. She’s smirking in victory, I can only look away in submission. I can’t look at her straight in the eye.

I don’t even hear the announcement of Amanda’s victory, or the instruction telling me to walk to the center of the stage again. I knew this would happen, I knew it! But it’s still too hard to endure. After so long that the public was starting to get uneasy, I make my way to the very front of the stage to do what I hope I’m getting a lot paid for.
Aria is looking at me from the watching window, as is Joy. I can see Helga’s malice from where I’m standing. There is no way around it, I’m trapped here. I have to do it. I get both my thumbs inside the small white piece of cloth covering my most private area, each on one side, at my hips. I can’t help but whimper a bit as I use my arms to lower my panties down my knees and then into my ankles. I step out of my underwear, first right leg, then left leg. It’s done.
Standing like a soldier would, I have hundreds of eyes on me. Even with all that has happened to me lately, not these many human beings had seen me naked in my entire life; and now all at once a full house – and a camera – all get to see exactly how my body is designed. “Melody” a deep male voice amplified by a lot of speakers says to me, “very impressive performance. We rarely get to see a newcomer making it all the way to the semifinals.”

Should I be thinking like this? Of course I should. Yes, that’s it, Melody! Get mad. You need to get mad, draw strength from anger. Come on, snap out of it! You’re like a scared Skitty right now, they’ll devour you.
“I’d like to think I did well considering the circumstances. I don’t think any trainer, as skilled as he or she might be, could’ve done much better in the same situation. Or do you disagree?” I answer with annoyance, behaving defensively.
“Oh, no. You did fine. Speaking of skilled trainers, though; I believe you have one in your family? Do you mind sharing your full name to the audience?”
“I do mind. I don’t hide behind the shadow of anyone. I’m Melody. My dad, who is what you think you mean, is my dad. If you want to discuss about his accomplishments, I can give you his number.”
“There is fire in this one, ladies and gentlemen! And it is to be expected, as she is Melody Mustard, daughter of Dust Mustard.”
The audience was already containing a few exclamations on my atypical hot-headed behavior, but after the mentioning of my last name; they seemed to get even more surprised. Dad is famous like that in the Pokémon world. Still a deadbeat and a complete retard otherwise. I’ve heard stories about him, if mom didn’t take the initiative, the guy would’ve probably have died a virgin.
Since I don’t say anything after that, the announcer tries to keep the conversation going.

“You’re not a freak of nature, Melody. Your body is beautiful, and I am certain most will agree with me. Shape is more important than size, is that right?”
“Hey, if you don’t like what you’re seeing you’re very welcome to look away.”
I draw a few laughs from the public. Is this working? The shame is past. Sure, I’m still completely naked in front of lot of people; but at least it’s not getting any worse. They’ve already seen, if they want to keep staring that’s just dandy. Meanwhile I’ll keep talking until they get bored, but meanwhile I’m not doing crap. No turning around, no dancing, and definitely no perverted stuff. This is Melody’s show. If full frontal nudity is not good enough for you, you can kindly go fuck yourself.

Okay… I have to admit that having the crowd eating from my hand as I’m being rude and dominant is a little exciting… and yes, it does have a little bit to do with the fact that I’m naked. I’m not a closet pervert! This is really freaking embarrassing and would much rather not do anything similar in my entire life, going as far as to say that I’d gladly give any of my Pokémon – save Ralts – to avoid it. The little tiny itty bit of arousal is still there, though. I can’t deny it, not to myself.
Still, it doesn’t get to my head and it’s not quite enough to make me do something crazy. I keep calm and collected and climb down from the stage, giving up the mic as I receive a sincere round of applause for my performance. I give my cheering crowd the finger, but they just seem to enjoy my bad girl attitude. I suppose they like all sorts and tastes around here. Just look at Laurie, for crying out loud.
I’m lead to my seat. It’s another dreadfully embarrassing and humiliating experience to have to get close to the public in the buck and have to find the place reserved for me. I know half these people have already binoculars and stuff, but having them see my body from so close still makes me anxious. The blushing is back… and here I thought I had that dominated from earlier. At least I can use my hands to cover my shame, now.

Ugh… found my seat; finally. I sit on it and… wow. This feels awesome. Yes, I know there’s a bunch of people staring at my unmentionables even as of right now, but this chair is really comfy. Not only that, but my bare skin against it feels phenomenal. It’s warm, and soft. There is a place for everything. A place to rest my head, a place to rest my feet, and even a place to rest my arms if I cared to place them there – they’re too busy at the moment covering me –. As for my butt, it just found heaven. This is better than any bed that I’ve ever laid on. I guess losing first is not so terrible if you get to sit in this place for a few hours. I was going to answer something, but my train of thought gets interrupted by the announcement of the next fight. Seconds later, I get to see the Pokémon Battle the way it was supposed to. The view is a lot better down here; although granted, maybe giving your clothes for it is not worth it.

It’s Joy versus Amanda. The final match. They go straight at it! Sadly, Joy just doesn’t stand a chance. She gets countered at every step of the way. Her Magnemite does manage to take out Amanda’s Dratini after a spectacular Sonic Boom, but the damn bitch only took off her glasses. After Joy loses her first Pokémon, she takes off her panties. The public basically roars for it, she’s truly a crowd favorite. She does another complicated maneuver to take off her pink underwear from underneath her apron without showing anything to anybody… to just then just walk back to her position in the Pokémon Battlefield, giving her back and waving her butt right in front of us. And from this angle… I can actually see her pussy.
As her second Pokémon is knocked out, Joy stands forward, and actually takes off her nurse apron! The prizing ceremony seems plain, old and boring. I have no interest on it, but I don’t feel like just stay sit here without doing anything. Since the lady to my side seems very talkative and outgoing, I try to make conversation. At the very least it doesn’t seem like she’s much of a snob who would refuse to talk to ‘the lower class’. This tournament is held twice a week. There’s no specific days for it, people who are interested in attending have to actually check and get informed by any means to their disposal. Getting an invitation is not too hard and not too expensive, but you have to know the right people. The Gentleman’s Battle Club is a bit of an underground touristic attraction, and while it’s not unique in Santo, it boasts the wider audience and variety of girls than similar places. The Pokémon admitted to fight here are not very strong, so there are plenty of girls capable of getting their hands on Pokémon of that caliber and start participating.
Becoming a contestant is free; and the only prerequisite is to know someone who can vouch for you. Basically, the only thing you have to do is ‘not be a cop’; although as far as I understand, the people dealing in this place have the city in their pocket anyways. There is technically no age restriction, so as long as you are considered attractive, you’re in.

We don’t get out clothes back, really bad news. Apparently, after the tournament an auction is held and they sell them. We get a very small cut of the profits, but that’s still quite a bit of money. Our clothes become more expensive the farthest we got in the tournament as we took them off; which usually means that panties are outrageously expensive, being the last thing most girls try to keep until the end.
Still, we don’t have to just go out naked to town; we get a dress. No underwear, no shoes, just a dress. That is, unless you want to risk it. There is a bit of a wager you can risk yourself to when being handed over your dress, with three possible results: if you’re lucky, you get a full outfit that covers everything, if you’re not lucky, you simply get something similar to the dress you risked, and if you’re unlucky… you get absolutely nothing. You can bring spare clothes to try and circumvent this, but they tend to disappear when you’re not watching your belongings. They’re not stolen, though; you get them mailed later. The people at the Gentleman’s Battle club are surprisingly good at finding people, or so this lady claims.

There are several punishments for those found out cheating, although the definition of cheating is a bit open to interpretation; it means basically what the public is willing to ignore or not. The physical punishments include very severe spanking and… having objects inserted; but those are for small offenses. The real punishment for breaking the rules deliberately in order to get an advantage is being sold. Yes, sold. You get auctioned, same as your clothes, and get bought – for a day – as the pet of someone from the audience. What happens to ‘pets’ depends on what kind of owner they have; but asking for your pet for favors of sexual nature is usually very frowned upon. There is this old lady who wins the pet auctions more often than not, and who’s said to have the girls sent their way never violate any rules ever again. Hearing this makes me feel glad I didn’t cheat… too much.
To be honest I was starting to enjoy the talk. As horrible as the customs and rules of this society are, it’s still interesting to hear about. The prizing ceremony ends, though; and all the contestants are summoned to the stage. We bow down –all of us naked but one – to the public one last time. Damn! I forgot how many there were of us! We get lined up – shortest girls forward, the tallest behind, which means I get to be in front row showing more of my body - Afterwards the announcer explains the choice that I had heard before. We get a dress or we can bet it to get something better. I have decided to keep the dress, of course. Or I was… until the first girl stepped forward to make her choice.

I like the ENF pose better. It's a classic for a reason. The hair is a bit short, but that is never a big deal. Melody has her hair to shoulder length, and it keeps growing as the story goes on and until the voters decide to cut it off (yeah, that's a choice whenever you want).

I am convinced, taking the bet just has one third chance of disaster, and that third of a chance isn’t even that much worse than just going out there with the gown. My turn. I step forward. I’m not covering myself because nobody else is, and thus I assume I’m not supposed to. A young woman walks to me and offers me the nightgown. I make my way to it, still naked. I don’t even have my backpack with me, I gave it to Aria before the match.
The exit is just some door at the end of an aisle; it looks like the place a bad restaurant would use to get the thrash out. I can see a few girls making their way into the city with different types of clothing. Some are lucky enough to have actual pants on, while a few are in their transparent nightgowns, not much better off than I and a few others who had to go out completely undressed save out trainer belts.

As Joy told me, Aria came out of the building soon after. She’s a bit mad because they took off her underwear. Apparently, that counts as extra clothing as well. Both Joy and I have been handed checks for different amounts of money. I don’t know about her, but the quantity written in mine is pretty absurd. It makes me understand why girls keep coming to this place to get ashamed by a bunch of perverts. They pay is pretty freaking good. Joy is an adult. In the eyes of everyone, including the law, there is no denying that. Still, you would think she is far too young to be a homeowner; and you would be wrong. Upon reaching that part of the story, I was getting progressively angrier at the both of them, but I promised I would listen until the end and I am glad I did. Aria didn’t just want to abuse me; her actions had some odd altruism to it. The thing Joy was to ask of me was to go back to the Gentleman’s Battle Club and fight again, but now I don’t have to; since Aria takes my place once the deal is done.
Also, surprisingly; Aria wanted something relatively simple from me when she talked to Joy about it. To be honest at the beginning I thought about very extreme and perverted stuff; sex, basically. Nothing of the sort. Aria just wants me to call her my girlfriend. That’s it. No strings attached; no need to do anything weird, just a name.

It does sound pretty odd, and maybe even wrong; but in the end it doesn’t take anything away from me. It’s not like I’m seeing anyone, or have plans to. What do I answer to all of this, though? It’s very alarming that Joy wants me to go to that den of perversion all over again, and rejecting it is kind of hard since we depend on her so much. Even without her offering us her home, until we’ve dealt with Bstone we’ll need her services as a Pokémon nurse a lot.

Since the story is told from a first person perspective, it fits to use the name while posting the story, but I ended up using it as well to respond to other posts so I can identify myself as the one writing the Pokémon CYOA.

Aria’s eyes light up with happiness. Telling her “no, nevermind” right now would feel like telling a little kid they’re not getting any birthday presents this year.

Sorry, I know it isn't fun sometimes for content you're not super into shows up. Sort of just one reason why I draw, to make it so content does exist that is more up my specific alley. I like my ENF to be lacking in tears, and want to see stories that don't end in like rape or life ruining. Sadly for some of you, I very much also like the inclusion of some 'fun' for the main girl. I like the gray area, where the nudity is still embarrassing, but something in the girl subconsciously enjoys aspects of it too. It's not pure ENF and it's not pure exhibitionism.

I would have been happy with B winning too. She didn't have to sit down this instant to enjoy herself, but I was happy to give the opportunity. Obviously though I don't have control of how the votes go. I did try to include the option for things to stop where they were. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised how the votes have swayed. I figured, with it being the same choice, the numbers would either be the same as last time, or sway towards the side of B. That people who wanted a bit of touching would be content. Yet somehow, people who didn't want touching before, now want it? It's hard to say really why suddenly A has so many more votes this time.

I'd offer to go on hiatus here until the sexual stuff gets sorted, but I have at least one A vote here, so I know there is an audience for it. Those who aren't into the touching, sorry, but it is how it is, and I guess I'm not the artist you would be hoping for at times. Hopefully we have more parts coming up that you can enjoy though.
