All right, I did some digging, and Google's a bitch (and very evil, trust me), which makes it hard to grab 1080p videos now. It is possible, but the as people have said, the audio is separate.
4K Video Downloader (and a couple of others) can get you 1080p videos, but all at the cost of a bit of sound bitrate.
720p videos can have 191 kbps, while 1080p are going to be encoded with 125 kbps.
Maybe Jewtube plays 1080p with the shittier sound in their player, even?

So, as of now, it seems that downloading at 720p is the best option? I've already noticed that the sound is off in some videos I downloaded. I thought it was a source problem, but Google being Google seems more likely, now that you say it.

I haven't tested it too much, but perhaps lataayoutube may be able to get both 1080p and high bitrate. Due to a glitch (I'm guessing) though, you can't download "Age-restricted" videos, the admin apparently doesn't know how to get around this (or just doesn't support it).
To use lataayoutube, just go to any youtube video and put lataa before "youtube".

I have never had a problem downloading 1080 from Youtube with DownloadHelper.
It just has shitty labeling which file is which.
