Cut hole.
Cut drywall same size as hole.
Tape, mud, sand.
Paint when dry and flat.
Watch paint dry.
done.

Aluminium cans make great filler. unsweetened corn starch pudding to smooth things out. If you're good. You can use a price of the broken wall as a textured to make the cornstarch patch blend in. Also. Spraypaint is your friend as long as you wash your wall before you paint
