A few weeks ago I posted asking for advice on joining two steel hemispheres to create a realistic Pokeball. Here's the result! Thank you /diy/ for helping me figure out. More pics below.
I used two steel hemispheres, a vinyl washer, and an aluminum button. A threaded rod with two nuts was epoxied between the two halves and clamped to join them.
I left them unfinished on the bottom to make them look worn but they could easily be polished up.
I wanted to simulate when they are "collapsed" in the anime. I always loved seeing scenes when there were a bunch of them sprawled out on a table.
So how many concussions has your cousin given the local wildlife?
