I have two 8x13 in. handled wooden cutting boards my friend brought home from Olive Garden. I'm looking for ideas on what to turn them into! Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking some art for my dorm or a grid pattern to set up crystals and other metaphysical things on.

Are they like in the photo or are they "end grain" cutting boards. If they are end grain cutting boards, don't deface or harm them, those are amazing and last forever with proper care and normal use.
For the type in the image, look up "Lichtenberg figure wood burning" using electricity to burn the pattern into the wood. If you make one from an old microwave transformer, make sure to do testing on scrap wood to get the feel for what you can do with them. It is great for wood that doesn't have very good figuring on its own.

They are not end grain, however, I will keep that in mind! Thanks for the links.
You can make a cutting board.

Run dowel through the handle and make a cutting board tree. Would make a cool freestanding shelf.
Tell your friend to stop stealing stuff from the olive garden.
