There is some way to transform an original Gamecube analog stick into one of those gamecube sitcks adapted to N64?

I run a privately owned game store. Most of the stuff from a company named Hyperkin is complete shit. BUT! they sell GC style replacement thumbsticks for the 64. They are really nice. Im sure you can find the style on amazon or ebay. JUST a cheap option you can check out (i personally have them on all my controllers)

Actually it's because I've got a broken gamecube controller, and since it's stick was one of the non-broken parts I've wanted to do something with it

the gamecube thumbsticks dont work well for some of the n64 games. the way it registers the direction you push the stick allows for less specific movement, which can bone you on games like mario64. you can take apart the thumbstick mechanism pretty easily(and reassemble easily) and compare the 2 gear systems that register movement, kinda interesting how the earlier model allowed for better gameplay
Bump because I'm interested
