Are you going to cut out the wiring harness and ECU too?
Otherwise itll just be prone to going off when you are just driving, or it wont go off during a wreck anyways

Don't do this. You'll probably set it off installing it because I assume you'll use deck screws or something.

The only time it is acceptable to add airbags to a car without them is when doing a '97+ interior swap into a Comanche. And yes, it is a fuckton of work.

How about installing a racing seat and harness, or even a partial roll cage? All of these are better than a stupid airbag and less complicated.
