I have a defective trunk and light seal on my s type. What kind of waterproof caulk can I use to properly hold the new seals in place and prevent water from getting in there. Preferably in a black color.

I apologize but I thought you would know better than >>>/o/

Any caulk at HD. It's literally all the same. I don't know about black, but you can get gray.
>>

I am sorry to have to ask but can you spoon feed me a link?
>>
>>1203099
Only if you promise to ask every person you see in your hardware store for a big black caulk.

deal. I'm not going to be the asshole who has to use a flap disk to get caulk up.

Also, like I said, it's all the second shit with a different name. Window, roof, bathroom, doesn't matter. It all seals out water. It all is applied with a caulk gun, it all makes a fucking mess. Practice applying it on some stuff, learn how to make a nice bead. Watch a YouTube vid.

Seriously, it matters if you've never done it.

>Second shit
How did I even do that
>Same shit*
>>
>>1203108
Even marine grade? same shit?
>>
>>1203112
>Marine grade
Unless you read it wrong and it actually says 'margarine grade' I'd say it's good.
>>
>>1203114

thanks guys :)

Buy 3m yellow snot, dont use garbge caulk
>>
>>1203112
Marine grade just has antimildew chemicals mixed in. Not necessary unless your car is aquatic.
>>
3M weatherstrip adhesive. Goes on sticky, real good to huff.
>>
Just use high temp rtv "red one" works better than cock/caulk. It can take on heat and gets pretty hard after its cured. Secret is to let it cure.

He doesn't need high heat stuff for this application.
