Thank you , taped up the bottom in a neat/edgy design (runes and my zodiac sign because my mom never shut up about them and i liked the way my sign looked for years) runes are also safe travel and luck

Spray painted the whole bottom with everything masked off (should've done all of this before the grip tape but it turned out nice thankfully)

End result (plus new trucks, wheels, and bearings) i peeled off the vinyl and tape and the clear coat i put on made the paint peel a bit so i used more polyurethane as a better finish and it made it look alot better then i thought (the black is semi sparkley because i wanted a space or night sky kinda look to it) and that is the end of our adventure , making shit is fun

For grip tape it's excellent. the proportions look good to me.

That's just my taste. I like it. If his work always looks that clean and proportional he might be good at designing menus and other things that they pay graphic artists to do.

Cutting grip tape with a geometric pattern into it has nothing to do with graphic design. My man can use a ruler, that's all that is shown here. There is so much post production work that goes into graphic design man, it's not just drawing shit you think is cool or looks clean.

i can understand what hes going through, its a useless "skill" that he probably went and paid to study, i didnt and graphic design wasnt the emphasis on the course either and i still regret wasting time on it, since all it essentially is is knowing how to start the adobes and any other program that you can "create" doodles in. Probably need to have some creativity but they teach balance of colors, shapes and their psychological effects on people anyway so dont even need a sense for anything.
