was cleaning my basement and found some disassembled clock parts. should I put it together? are the parts worth anything?
theyre worth nothing, give 'em here
I'd give it a go.
get a battery powered quartz clock
use it on the old one
dunno how you can get the pendulum working though

look for makers marks on the movement.
Value depends on the rarity. Still, it would be a nice project to work on.
I dunno, anon. On Pawn Stars, Chumlee would call in an expert friend, get an appraisal of $150-300 (€=15,000; £=95, 23 pence and 2 quarter-pence; ¥=5769) then make as offer of $40 (cuz I have to make a profit, use above ratios to convert to one of the gibberish currencies)

Does it keep pretty good time as is? Unless it's a valuable Paul Revere model or something like that, the accuracy is important.
You can use your sail phone to check the accuracy. note the time on your phone and on the clock and then check it again after 24 hours or a day. Post the results here if you have time. Lol get it? IF YOU HAVE TIME.

im guessing its taken apart for a reason, you should try re assembly for sure but if it doesnt work some part is probably missing forever

Your joke wasn't as funny as "sail phone"
