Anyone own a metabo grinder? My motor on my dads old Bosch one exploded and my neighbor says metabo make good grinders.
Also shit thread.

I own one, pretty nice. But all the pros I've seen use Makitas. Get the tool less blade change versions, it's handy.

I don't fuck around with zappy motor stuff, it pretty much just exploded breaking open the housing, I wasn't holding it it happened when I was plugging it in, me thinks the capacitor went explody on me.

Tool less how does that work? Also I reckon makitas are pretty overpriced, they make a fucking decent drill and impact driver though, also have a circ saw and belt sander of theirs too. Worth the money on a makita grinder or are they made for pros?
>>1193577
Fuck you, Pozidrive is the greatest four-pointed drive except for Robertson

Makita grinders are what the pros use these days ever since the B&D Wildcat grinder went away. 7-9 inch grinders are still around but they are beasts. Spend a day using them and, unless you are a demi-god, you will feel like you went 15 rounds with the champ.
I'd get a nice Mikita 4.5 inch grinder. I picked up a corded one at a yard sale for $20 the other day. It had only been used once or twice and looked brand new after a cleaning. Small enough to not wear you out but powerful enough to get the job done.

Thanks, will keep my eyes peeled. I'm pretty retarded when it comes to what to buy, I'll just look around for a used metabo or makita.
