I'm trying to preserve something drawn in sharpie on plexiglass, is this what I want to use?
If not, what do I need? Apologies for my ignorance, but Google has been of no help.

Try it and find out

Kind of on a time limit and don't have access to more plexi to test it out on something else, would prefer not to permanently fuck it up to see if it would work out or not.

place another layer or plexiglass over the drawing - bam! it'll last forever

I can't tell if you're joking, if you're not, that's unfortunately not an option.
Not sure how well it would protect it but I don't think you'd fuck it up as long as you did very light coats. If you spray too much it may cause the sharpie to run and get all messed up.

unfortunately, that's your best option - that or glass over it

why dont you just post the """masterpiece""" you want to preserve then, faggot?
I'm not using the crystal globe. If it's a 10sq meters of plexiglass - yea, sandwiching it with another piece of plexiglass is obviously not an option but i can't tell by a photo of a spray can
Is the plexi flat?
Then buy a sheet of clear vinyl. Basically putting on a giant clear sticker.
Slowly lay it from one side, using a credit card to press it flat to prevent air bubbles as you lay it down.

paint with no solvents
