Hey /diy/ first time poster here, so forgive my lack of knowledge.
I got a hole in the roof of this bathroom and was wondering how id go about installing and patching it. I believe it's drywall. Any help would be appreciated

1. Remove that loose piece of board.
2. Square off the hole with a dull knife.
3. Cut new board to size.
4. Install two supports for the new board to be installed. (see picture)

5. Install the new board with screws.
6. Fill up the gaps with stuc.
7. Pattern and paint.

Easiest thing in the world remove that board get a piece close to the size of hole screw to that piece of wood and use some mud to cover your shitty cut and my lack of punctuation
