Pour bleach down a plughole, it's cheap as fuck, a gallon or whatever you measure in.

something inside the washer going kaput? maybe a belt or motor brushes wearing/burning to shit?

Most likely your drains but could be a capacitor starting to leak in the washer.

do you have a little drain trap under your washer and is it connected to your septic line? if the water evaporates from that youll get shit smells like crazy. just pour a little water in it

If it's well water sulphur or rotton egg smell happens at times and is normal. Typically when the well is getting low.

I've heard about this before. The plumbing guy at Lowe's said it was either the coil in the water heater, or possibly something to do with the water softener.
