Buying a soldering gun to diy analog synths. I'll probably be working with tiny wires and circuit boards. Though, I'm a complete beginner. Are these cheapo #1 solders on Amazon good enough to start me off?

yes the adjustable one is more than enough for hobbyists
also get some leaded solders, and throw away the ones that comes with the kit it is garbage tier
also the solder pump is rather useless, also throw it away
actually, don't get a "kit", just get the soldering iron and get other stuff you need separately, the "kit" is just a jewish trick

Aight cool, appreciate it

don't buy the stupid weller. its a cheap iron with a light dimmer as the temperature 'control'
get a '936' soldering station , Aoyue or equivalent knockoff a Hakko
Get the Weller, a shitty adjustable is better than a good non adjustable. Also if you have a couple extra shekels get some extra tips.
Buy some leaded solder because lead free is pure shit.
NEVER use a solder sucker, always buy a spool of solder wick. Shits magic.

Aoyue is adjustable yeah?

Yeah, all 936 clones are. Plus replacement tips will be easy to find if you'll ever need different ones.
