Hey /diy/ first time posting here. I can only assume this is the right board for this, if not my apologies.
The longest guide comb I had was 3/4 inch and this was way to short for my liking. So me being cheap, instead of going out and buying a longer guide comb or even just getting my hair cut at the barbers, I decided to make this. It did the job. I didn't measure how long it was it just looked about right. So /diy/ did I do good?

i can't imagine 2 things
1) guide combs are expensive
2) there is any point in cutting hair with a trimmer if your guide is so long you might as well just use scissors.
but if you are happy i am happy for you.
the joy in finding a solution to a problem should not be diminished by the necessity of the invention. when lasers were first invented they were just a curious novelty but look at them now, from cd players to missile guidance they are fucking everywhere!
