Hello all, i have a Triangle Tube Prestige Solo 60 water boiler that keeps locking out due to failure to ignite. Does anyone know if it's possible to manually ignite a system that uses electrical ignition (or will i blow up my house that way) or is there another way to get the damn thing to start. I got gas going to the stove, and the boiler smells like its got gas going to it. What do i do in this situation? Thanks
Lock out occurs after three failed attempts to light, if it is lighting, but not staying on there is a small rod in the path of the flame, is the flame sensor, it can get caked with soot, clean that and you're golden. If it is actually failing to ignight, then either the board or the ignighter is bad, do you know if it is a glow ignighter or a spark?

It is not lighting, i believe it is a spark igniter from what the manual says. I have no clue where to remove and check the igniter itself on this thing, manual doesnt show in the diagrams. Will attach more pictures so someone can guess where the assembly is
I think this is it, no?
find the online owners manual

Yeah i have that, couldnt find the igniter itself. Need verification that image i posted 2 up is the igniter before i fuck with it

>where Ignitirius?
Id take a wild guess, and say the igniter is mounted slightly to the right of the ignition chamber as shown in this pic, or, slightly below where it cuts off at that turned -90 angle. Id prob jist order a replacement first tho, they are like mini$$$, not worth testing (need meter and shit) - only thing you can fuck up is the ignition gap.
And if I dint want to guess, Id google the model name as supplied an read the service PDF which is literally the FIRST FUCKING HIT - pic related, igniters #5, or:

Ok i see it now, thanks. Will remove it now, hope i dont die
Ok, i broke the gasket for the igniter i think. Its made of some soft metal.

Right, this is exactly why, you order the parts first.. Has your model TriMax Control? (dont ask me, idk), if so;
you need PTRKIT313:
>http://www.supplyhouse.com/Triangle-Tube-PTRKIT313-Ignitor-Cable-Gasket-for-Solo-60-399-PE110-Trimax-Boilers-only ($60)
>https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PITCNP8 ($76 )
Both claim sesnor is included, AMZ pic def has it, 1st link, I dunno.
if no TriMax Control? - you need PSRKIT15;
>http://www.supplyhouse.com/Triangle-Tube-PSRKIT15-Ignitor-with-Gasket ($58)
>https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005NKEHLK ($140 taking the piss)
Thats actually bit expensive, as kit, but dont feel bad - more or less anything that says 'gasket' aint designed for re-use, new ones included in the kit, you sposed to change gasket by removal anyway, and, fuck, its gas, do it proper, man. You could have probably scraped the gasket off, real careful and reused, but lifes short enough, and, you aint really ended it by breakin that one. Also, prob/def. find it cheaper, aint really looked.

Looks like ill have to get PSRKIT15. Cable looked fine to me, so if it still wont work after replacing igniter ill just call some hvac guy with more experience than me and have him worry about all this shit. Done with this stuff for now, nothing changed. Boiler didnt work before, now it wont work for a while longer. Thank you very much for the help.
