This doesnt explain what will happen if 100V or so, will apear at 0.2V or 2V range. Is there fancy protection or switch integrated inside? Can you help me?

There's (at least) R16 to limit current and CMOS circuits usually have diode clamps like in pic related in their inputs.
So, if you apply 100V to the input, you can expect around 80µA fault current to flow to VCC or GND, depending on polarity.
That said, these cheap chinaman meters aren't exactly known for their robustness.
So i assume that if there is in resistor like 1M, diodes protection then current will be so low that it would be safe? What about higher voltage?
