Completely new to leatherwork and DIY in general. How do I make something like pic related provided i know where to get python skin
Why kill a python on something that will probably be crappy? Just buy some cow leather and fuck up a few times.

Oh don't worry the pythons already dead.
Snake hides are pretty thin and weak.
You need to use the python simply as an overlay to a normal cow leather wallet.
Loctite makes quit me a few different adhesives that will bond it securely.
I don't have the locktite number on me, but easy to find in a search.
Also look into kangaroo and stingray hides.
Kangaroo is one of the strongest leathers- they don't have sweat glands so there are less micro irregularities- very supple also.
Stingray is amazing in general, the "beads" in the hide are calcium deposits, basically bone. So it is very durable.

Should I make my own leather wallet or buy one for the base?
