I have a few of these boxes that I found around my university. Apparently, electronic components used to come in them.
They're really great boxes and I want to have a lot of them, but I don't know where to buy boxes like this or even if they're still sold.
They measure 4" x 3.5" x 1.5".
Any idea where I can find some like this?
those look vintage, anon
nowadays electronic components boxes are made of corrugated cardboard

Maybe cigar boxes would be a viable alternative?
Try looking for hardboard paper boxes or paper hardboard boxes.

You could ask /po/ but they might just tell you how to make them...

SOme screws, bolts and nuts come in similar boxes.
i dunno where you can find them.
But i guess you can make them with pressed cardboard and craft paper

Empty ones for sale by manufacturers are called set-up boxes or setup boxes
I didn't find the size you wanted but you can do the search for specific ones you want for yourself

Kek... It's as bad here on /diy/: you can ask what time it is and six guys will argue about the most efficient way to safely build a clock.
OP, try Googling hard first, include words like commercial, hardboard, stuff like that. You'd be amazed at how many suppliers there are for things as simple as those little boxes.

Thank you, that name was exactly what I needed.
I would try and make them myself, but I need fifty or more.
