Hey /diy/ I'm looking at pressure gauges for my high pressure aeroponics since I don't want to do the stupid sprayers at low pressure.

Let's say I want to hit the sweet spot of 30psi on 1inch pvc. Is this measured different on the regulator since it is smaller size? or am I thinking incorrectly?

I was assuming if the regulator has a 1/4inch hose and the pvc is 4 times that, it'll have lower psi than what the gauge says? I have no idea

The pressure will drop from one end of the 1" sprayer line to the other. The drop depends on the port sizes. Put the gauge where in the line you want the 30PSI (beginning, middle end) and adjust the regulator accordingly.
