I've been pointing a hair dryer at this thing for half an hour and I just can't get the glass to come out of the frame... How do replace tablet screen?
The digitizer is peeling off fine but the glass is snug in there.

Maybe soak it in alcohol overnight? It helps to dissolve some kinds of glue. It works with epoxy.

I guess the hair dryer doesn't get hot enough and I don't have a heat gun so now I'm trying to just lay it in a pan with foil around it

the screen's shattered so that won't work
I've got 99% of the glass out but there's some tiny shards clinging around the edge of the frame

got it replaced and together several hours later, thanks everyone
