Go to hardware store's plumbing section. Find pipes and valves. Find sizes that fit into each other.

Connect pieces, set as shown. There's no special magic at work there, just valves and liquid pressure.

Don't see how it wouldn't all fucked up right off the bat. The pressure of the coke is going to prevent the JD from flowing, and even if you can overcome that, you still need to fuck around with the valves to get the mix right. Again, that's going to be highly variable because of the varying pressure of the coke (depending on its fizzines and the quantity left in the bottle).

I'd need to see this in operation before I wasted my time and resources on the build. As it stands, it seems fiddly as fuck, even moreso once you've had a few.

I think the pressure between the two isn't an issue, both bottles will be at the same pressure if both upper taps are left open. It would also be interesting to see if the alcohol ended up sitting on top of the cola after sitting a few days with the upper taps partly open.

- A bottle of coke
- A bottle of jack
- Two hands
- Two fingers (ideally, on the same hand)
- A tumbler

The contraption in OPs image will not wörk, and here's why:
-Pressure in coke bottle, but none in jack bottle
- Even worse: Jack cannot flow out because there's no way for air to get in

Pic related will wörk better, as the individual fluid levels will even out, resulting in a mixing ratio equivalent to the fluid container's respective cross section areas at fluid level.

To make OP's device wörk, you would need a little hole in the bottom of each bottle, through which the new fluid could also be funelled in when empty. The two side valves need to be closed during refilling. Both fluid levels should be at the same level when the side valves are opened. Now you can get your drink via the main valve.

As a 1:1 mixing ratio tastes horrible, I would build a device with 3 prongs, the outer ones being coke and the center jack, so you would get 2:1 automatic mixing ratio.

This guy is completely correct, there is no chance that device works. Its probably just an art piece epoxied together, since there is no way that brass to glass fitting exists, and modeling the (non-standard) thread and having one machined would cost >$200.

You could control the mixing ratio using gravity and open cylinders of varying diameter, but you would of course have to open/close three valves for each drink and it would be super pointless.
