Hey boys doing some caulk work next week is this stuff OK for a small job or do I need a caulk gun and tube?
You know those tubes have coverage information right on the sides. Tells you how much to expect out of the tube.

You can buy a tube and gun for less than that shit

What are you going to be using it for?
I've used these squeeze tubes for years. If you just have some small jobs, then they're fine.
The biggest draw back is that they're more expensive than just using the gun tubes.

No. Get a gun and three tubes of caulk. One is for practice. Do the backsplash of your vanity while you're at it so shit matches.

You are going to want to get anything you seal very very clean before you apply any caulking. So not try to go over the top of old caulking.
Also if you are caulking a shower do not used the product shown use a type of caulk rated for use in a shower. The stuff you have shown is for caulking trim to walls and then painting over. If you use this in a shower you will have mold and mildew growth.

But mold and mildew is making a fashionable comeback this year, have a look on the cover of this month's Caulking Bathrooms.
