Would it be possible to feed yourself with a .5 acre plot? Assuming

Some of the .5 acre is taken up by a 2000 sq. ft. house and a two car drive way.

Meat is where the money gets spent and you probably wont be able to raise and butcher animals for less that it would cost to just go buy it at the store.

You could maybe raise chickens and just eat a shitload of eggs and occasionally slaughter one.
