Well done.

Preddy gud. Get some white plastic 'donuts' that are held on by tacks/screws in the center hole and put those on the leg-ends, and it'd be groovy.
Very nice, OP
Looks like a job well done.

How could i make it better?

I made it so you can put almost any bookshelf speakers into the bottom.
I just put some $40 off amazon in there. They sound pretty good desu

Interesting anon. I have looked into stealing your idea since i found a few free ones. Seems like a legit source for beer money. Im close enough to lawrence kansas i could really fuck over a shitlib hipster. And do it proudly.

Oh shit op. U meant build build not modify? Shit son. 10/10. Especially if u make a killing on it. Finally. A diy not involving burying whatever you build and dying in it.

Well im about to release my secrets in an ebook on how to restore classic mid century consoles. I made $10,000 in 6 months.
The ebook will be featured on my kickstarter to raise capital to produce my own console.

Standard woodworking joints. Just build the outer structure like a box. You can use miter joints and dowels, box/finger joints, fuck, even some kind of dovetails if you want to be fancy. For the interior supports you can use simple rabbits or sliding dovetails. If you do the above and do it right all you will need is wood glue. No screws or nails.

Personally speaking..
I'd have went with the upper space (right hand side) higher/more room - people change records more often than they change the volume, and changing the volume is easy, most probably have a remote for amp as well. But record changing is manual, would not want to bend down that far everytime, Id (def) have deck in top space, and that needs more room then, my opinion.
Other.. people may prefer to use other speakers, just from the positioning, the bottom is too low, and speakers placed there, not enough width for good stereo sepertation. Not saying, youd be selling these to sound freaks, but, that space _would_ be perfectly usable for a small sub, you get long/thin subs that would fit there good, then, they using pair of wall/stand/simply on top of the thing monitors, w/e. What would prevent bottom sub is the support currently in the middle, dunno if yoiu can rmove/change this easy tho, would also need a (hidden) hole for speaker cable. otherwise, top .
