I got pic related as a gift and want to make it into a case that I can hold 2 guns in so I dont have to take 2 cases out shooting. the guns btw are glock 23, and steyr m9, and they both fit.

That's the kind I/we used to use in the Service to organize tools. It should work very well with guns. I'm pretty sure we used hot glue to adhere pieces together and to the box but it's been a while.
