So, i got a vitrin-shelf with a built in lamp from a friend. There is just one problem, there is a cord that is not conmected to a wall plug (european standards 220) Can somebody help identify what to purchase for it to make the light work?

That light fixture may not be 240v, may be low voltage...check the fixture first...

If low voltage, buy low voltage transformer...
If 240v, buy replacement plug...

that looks like low-voltage halogen stuff. so you probably need a 12Vac transformer that can provide you the watts you need. you'll have to pull out the light bulb to see what voltage and wattage ratings are marked on it.

yeah that's definitely a 12V halogen bulb. you need a transformer rated 12Vac @ 1A or more.
