Hey guys i was cleaning my garage out and i found this pot still that a few buddies and I tries to make shine with once. I remember we drank it and nobody turned out blind. The still looks like shit, do you think its good to use still? Thanks for any help.

I think, minus the lid, you have a stockpot you can use. Nothing about the rest of it looks sanitary, or useful. A length of tubing shoddily stuck into a pot lid does not make a still. Why stick an airlock in the top when you can't possibly seal the lid?

That would happen because bootleggers added rubbing alcohol or used lead solder and pipes. Nobody should go blind if you built that thing responsibly.

Lead solder and rubbing alcohol have nothing to do with it, methanol does.
