I have to repair my daughter's iPod. a 7th gen a1238 iPod classic.
The problem is that replacing the battery I unsoldered some pins from the motherboard and fixing it would cost 95€ from the nearest laboratory.
I would like to buy a used iPod compatible with that HDD. Is the 6th fitting?
The model of the HDD is Toshiba mk1634gal.
any suggz?

You can't just solder the pins yourself? What made you think you could work on a board like this without a decent station?
Anyways if you can't fix the board, or get a replacement online, your best bet is to backup the content on the HDD and get her a new iPod shuffle or something.

If you cant repair the board yourself, go on ebay and look for one that has a busted screen or dead hdd for cheap

Never mind if it's compatible. If you put it in a 6th gen used iPod she will literally never use it again
