I'm making a bluetooth speaker, and I'm currently making a case for it. I bought a 2' by 4' peice of MDF, think it's 1/4" thickness. My plan is just to make a rectanglular prism and glue all the peices in place with gorilla glue. Also planning on spray painting it black, or potentially getting some hardwood to put on it after and then staining it so it's a nice dark color.
Should I use a different glue or is gorilla glue okay? Does shape really matter?
I also read some mixed reviews of MDF online so should I switch materials?

Gorilla glue is garbage. Its especially garbage with wood as it expands.
Regular wood glue will work better
MDF is fine, dont get it wet

Use wood glue and mother fucking clamps for days. I'm serious. Use all the god damn clamps. If you don't clamp it then the shit will fall apart.

Id like to see someone try and not clamp anything that has gorilla glue on it
Gorilla glue will work. So will regular wood glue. My last sub box was glued with Elmer's glueall, no trolling. My only concern is that 1/4 mdf is some weak ass shiz.

Its not a big speaker so I'm hoping it's alright

In my sleepless haze I forgot what the thickness was, I just measured it and it's half an inch
