California has some bullshit law that's poorly written enough such that if a product has basically ANY quantity of ANYTHING that's ever shown the slightest possibility of being carcinogenic, it needs to have that warning to be sold in California. Given that California basically has the same population as Canada, that's a pretty huge market, so everyone just puts the warning label on stuff and doesn't worry about dealing with a California-specific supply chain.
