What plastic is that? If its PE or PP you can't really glue them (or it is hard). You could sand the surfaces, wipe with acetone and and some heat. Then you can try to apply glue.

I can sand it down, clean it, as the white part is textured..

ok, when I removed two screews from the reduction plug and removed the cover, the adapter itself holds extremely well

except for somewhat exposed 230V its fine
