My dear friend has a broken lada, and he can't get it fixed anywhere because it is as old as time. It can't be turned on, and probably needs a whole new engine, but where can you get lada engines or how do you fix one? He really needs it fixed soon.

Parts are pretty common if you're in eastern europe, if you're anywhere else you might have to look online. AFAIK they share a lot of parts between models so it doesn't have to be for your exact one.

Check any local junk yards. Pulling and dropping a engine are something you two shouldn't be doing considering you're asking here.

I think I'll go check a few junkyards out tomorrow, thanks.

Assuming its the engine isnt going to do anything but waste time and money. If he needs a car immediately then he should get a different car, you guys arent going to get it running quickly unless its a dead battery.

where do you live ? like ladas aka Fiat clone are prety comon cars tey sell parts evrivhere

Okay. As you decided to omit where you live I'm going to assume you live in Finland. It's as reasonable as to ask a global board ”where can I find X”.
It's strange,as you are a Finn, you need to ask stuff like this. try nettiauto http://www.nettiauto.com/lada/vaihtoautot
Maybe autopurkaamot.com might help also. I assume!e it's a 1200 or 1500 as these are the to go ladas for us western Siberians. I'm glad I helped you this much!
