Is there an opensource PCB on which I can run a minimal version

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Is there an opensource PCB on which I can run a minimal version of Linux? I don't need all the bells and whistles of the Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone. I'm looking at strippng away all unwanted components to have it made through 4pcb.

there's no way it will be cheaper than a pi zero
>>
>>1098953
good luck finding one of those, though

and, if you cant be lucky? - can always learn howto Google. Drought on Zeros ended an age ago, place is swimming with them (select 'zero only' in options for $5 or whatever eq. price). Still end up gathering dust, got two (somewhere..) I've literally lost.

I don't care about the price. The Pi Zero isn't open hardware anyway.

You want to run a minimal version of Linux on a chunk of fiberglass with some metal tracings?

2 hour boot time
4 hours to load linux and login

Find a router with AR7240 chip. (tl-wr740n, rb711, dir-600, early loco-m2)
AR7240 comes in QFP128 package which is easy to solder and you cat route it on 2 layer pcb. It also uses ddr1 memory which comes in non bga packages.
Or you can go with AR9331, which is faster, require less components, have some documentation available, but comes in dual-row 148-LPCC package.

Have not done Bga but I have done similar packages..
I would recommend proper cleaning and a very good Flux.
Then I would also use an oven instead of an air gun.

I'm not sure how well Bga self aligns.

Do you have a small chip like thing made out of silicon attached to that chunk of fiberglass?
>>
If you're looking to use ucLinux, the 68 Katy might be a good choice http://www.bigmessowires.com/2014/11/17/68-katy-68000-linux-on-a-solderless-breadboard/
>>
>>1100909
That would be a microcontroller IC, not a PCB

PCB has nothing but fiberglass, copper tracings, and lamination

Well it was Ubuntu, he could probably cut it down some with a lighter distro. Besides OP didn't specify it had to be any good.
