I know that it will be shit. I want to know how shit. Will it work ok with minor modifications for slow and light work?
Post any of your experiences here.

Was tempted a few years ago. Instead purchased a 2000USD NC mill with a rotary axis addon.
Still works and the water-cooled motor is powerful enough for aluminum.

I got one of those. It's pretty shit, don't expect to mill or turn pretty much anything on it, not even palstics. However it's nice for drilling wierd parts.

i don't think that thing can even machine cheese. maybe light passes on american cheese.
Full disclosure: I've never owned one.
But I already know it's even more shit than you were expecting, as I've built a couple CNC machines and have a small import lathe. They're much more hefty than some thin-walled aluminum extrusion, and they still aren't terribly fast or accurate.
If I was a wealthier person, I'd be tempted to buy one just to see how shit it is. I have to wonder if it can handle anything tougher than HDPE or Home Depot-tier pine.

Reviews for it suggest it's a children's toy
