Sounds like a new fridge.

Calling someone out is going to be around the ballpark of 200-400 dollars to fix it. A new fridge (as long as your smart and just buy the bare basic it is just a box to hold your food, not an art piece. ) is around 600 dollars. I recommend GE for fridges. For dishwashers, Samsung or maytag, and for stoves GE or maytag.

After extremely accurate studying of the picture, I have come to believe that we have been misled.

Evidence seems to exist that where OP comes from, the gravity vector is turned 90° upwards, as clearly the pans on that stove are not falling towards the floor like we would expect.

In that situation, I think OP did the right thing by laying the fridge on its side.

I own an appliance repair shop. The others in here are probably right, leak in your sealed system. freezers are dirt cheap save your money and buy a new one.

Check to make sure the ducts to the fridge below arent frozen over or blocked.

Get a pair of pliers, screwdriver, socket, whatever it is to disconnect the back panel in the back of the freezer.

If there's ice buildup then let it thaw completely until bone dry. The holes to the fridge should be clear and free of obstruction, and pour a little water down the drain hole to make sure the drainage path is clear and free flowing.
