Hey /diy/ over the next year I am going to be working on a small riverboat for a Louisiana swamp on and off, I just want to get some tips if anyone knows anything about boat-making. I am kinda limited on materials because poor as fuck, but I have a near infinite amount of cherry and oak boards for use. I intend on using a large tarp for the sail, the goal is to make this build as economical as possible and easily repeatable for the average joe in shitsville to make with relative ease.
pic has my design

Boat not suitable for sailing, no keel.
Might work with small sail if watersurface is big enough. Don't you people ever Google first?

Excuse me for asking a fucking question

Have you read the sticky? It literally says to Google it first, you ignorant fuckhead. How the hell do you even intense to do the joints? This is so poorly planned, go do your own homework any we'll help you when you actually run into a problem. This is /doityourself/, not /haveothersplanitforyou/.
your drawings are of 2 very different shapes and your measurements describe a third. none of them make sense as a boat
Sell nearly infinite amounts of cherry and oak boards, get money, get more useful materials.
