It's for one mold. They expect the mold to be replaced within/at five years.
The 'dit' is added each month (just a punch) to keep track of when the part was made.
It's also a record of when the mold was placed into service.
Others use two or three 'dials' which the pointers are set each day (yy) (mm) (dd)
