hey /diy/ a while back I had my laptop fixed and pic related is what they replaced, can someone identify what they are? capacitors, resistors?

They're both SMT components. The one on the left looks like a capacitor from the color but could be a resistor or inductor. The right component is an IC. Could do about anything.
