Hi DIY I have been wanting to make some extra side cash and the idea struck me to offer myself as a residential painter
the problem being sure ive painted a few sheds here or there but i dont yet have the confidence to take on my first job or feel i really know the trade inside and out.....I cant find any opportunities on the area to get hired as a painter or painter apprentice
what should i do to move forward? just do a bit of research and jump in head first? let the customer know i am a beginner for a hefty discount?
any advice on moving forward would be appreciated /diy/ seemed like the best board to ask

Basically this.
Never tell a customer you're just starting out and never say that you can't do something.
If you don't know something go home and google how to do it.
