hi /diy/ I'm trying to pick this lock, I have the basic understanding of lock picking, I wanna know if there is anything about this specific kind of knob or lock that would help me in my endeavor. Any insight?

Are you trying to learn to pick? Or just trying to open the door? I do work at an office building with similar commercial knobs/door jambs. I took a piece of semi-rigid transparent plastic from an electronics package and it it into the shape of pic related.
Works like a charm.

If it's an office you can also climb through the ceiling space and lift a tile on the other side
Use a ladder partion walls will not take much weight
A friend used to refit offices and keys would be long lost by the time they got somewhere to do a refit, anything to not pay a locksmith
