I'm an Electrician's apprentice, so I have a basic understanding of circuitry, and I can design a circuit to meet my needs. I have no experience with solar panels, though. I'm building an aquaponics system, and I need to run 3 small motors, and thought that I could do it off solar. Since the sun shines at least 8 hours here in Florida, I figured that I could charge a few batteries which would in turn run a few motors. Do I need some special electronics to keep the panel from blowing up when the sun isn't hitting it?

Holy shit, there's only one r in battery, and I just realized my OP is barely comprehensible. Sorry guys. I'm not retarded, I swear.

Also, I realize there aren't too many 20 amp hour batteries out there.
