Personally I don't like the look of galvanized metal. I also don't like building things out of pipe.

I'd use some good old fashioned wood for the cabinets and some posts with grooves at the top to hold the handlebars. Then 2 more shorter, thicker posts to hold the pedals.

why are you being a try hard fag, get 2 coat racks and put your bike on them? bolt 2 dowels between them and call it a day

i got one of these at Home Depot for $5. works fine. i used a bit of 1x3 wood to screw into two adjacent studs, then screwed this into the 1x3. when i take it down, i'll just have to patch 2 smallish holes. (pro-tip: do not to screw too tightly so as to not leave an impression on the wall, and so the paint on the wall will not stick to the wood; the wood should move a tiny bit)

Could probably use guitar hangers screwed into studs.
If you've got an older place with picture rails you can build something to hang from them. They were designed to hang heavy parlor mirrors and shit.
